Earlier this month, the five-star AAA Five Diamond resort recipient NIZUC Resort & Spa celebrated 10 years of hospitality with a weekend-long celebration in Cancun. NIZUC Resort & Spa first opened its doors in March 2013 as part of the Brisas Group marking its first luxury hotel in a strategic location with abundant natural beauty. The anniversary celebration involved a cocktail reception, elegant dinner, fire dancers and drummers, and a pool party.

At the heart of the rebranding, the resort also introduced a new logo that symbolizes its transformative journey. The logo features a Wordmark and a Brandmark, each encompassing the essence of the Borgo's heritage and classic modernity.

Yale Hospitality announced the appointment of Stacey Hepburn-James as Senior Director of Residential Operations after serving in an interim capacity. In support of Yale College, Stacey will be responsible for leading the strategic oversight and successful operations within Yale Hospitality’s 14 residential college dining halls. Prior to Yale, Stacey served in various senior leadership positions in premier hospitality operations. Stacey holds both master’s and bachelor’s degrees in hospitality management and is a graduate of the inaugural cohort-elect of the Yale Emerge program established by Yale President, Peter Salovey in 2022. She sits on the Board of Trustees for the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) and is a member of several Yale committees.

EUROPALCO, the largest provider of solutions for events and shows in Southern Europe, assumed a pivotal role in managing audiovisual signal distribution across all PA systems and LedWall towers for World Youth Day 2023, hosted in Lisbon, Portugal. Europalco engineered a bespoke distribution system designed to seamlessly transmit the appropriate video and audio signals to each tower. Utilizing multiple fibre-optic connections spanning distances of up to 5 kilometres, all centralised within the master control room, the engineers successfully disseminated signals to 25 key points featuring PA systems and LedWall displays and facilitated stage and backstage monitoring.
