Branded Proposal Videos Offered by Digital Images
Digital Images Group has developed a new product to make RFPs more memorable: custom-branded videos. Designed to "engage, entertain and educate" clients, the company says, the free, professionally produced videos are branded with the event planner's brand and showcase its services, along with Digital's services. The company's videos are more memorable than literature that is mailed or PDFs that are emailed, the company says, and achieve nearly a 90 percent closing rate. The videos include the event planner's primary services, logo, images, video clips, descriptions and contact information. The finished video is delivered to the planner in the in the format of a URL link, embedded YouTube code and an MPEG-4 file. Videos can be created and delivered within 24 hours.

Social Tables Debuts New Software Platform
Social Tables has announced the second generation of its event planning software platform, built specifically for weddings, galas, corporate events and meetings. Initially a seating chart tool that encouraged an event's guests to interact beforehand, the program has evolved into an event management platform that helps planners throughout the planning life cycle, according to the company.
