Custom cookies, fire on water, and the world's biggest rocking horse—all were offered as enticing event elements at "Michael Cerbelli's Hot Event and Entertainment Ideas 2011," a highlight of Day 2 at The Special Event, the industry's premier trade show and conference. The event runs though Jan. 28 at the Phoenix Convention Center.
Cerbelli, partner in New Jersey-based Total Entertainment, offered attendees a wide range of hot products to add to their events. He demonstrated Lumajere, a decorative fire element that makes a cost-effective centerpiece. He also noted the charm of custom candy from Papa Bubble.
The session closed with the rousing percussive vocal group Vox Audio.
The day also offered a wide range of education sessions, including "Design Dawgs III," "How to Get Press Coverage" and "Going Green in the World of White Weddings."
Friday will feature the Masters' Program and Brunch and the Gala Awards and Celebration.
