El Dorado Offers Meetings Rebate
The Eldorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe, N.M., now offers a 10 percent rebate to the event planner's master account for booking a meeting with a minimum of 100 room nights through the end of February 2013. The rebate offer from the 219-guestroom property includes a welcome margarita reception, free WiFi in guestrooms and the meeting space, 15 percent off spa services, complimentary meeting space, up to five complimentary VIP welcome amenities, up to five complimentary guestroom upgrades, 10 percent off published catering rates, and 20 percent off AV. The resort offers event planners and a guest to submit a qualified RFP in order to receive a complimentary three-day, two-night stay with deluxe accommodations for two, meals, complimentary wine and cocktails, a comprehensive sit inspection, and complimentary parking.
Lake Lawn Resort Debuts Renovations
The Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, Wis., has reopened after almost $4 million in capital improvements. The full-service convention facility and retreat sits on 250 wooded lakeside acres in Wisconsin's Geneva Lakes region, 90 minutes from Chicago and 60 minutes from Milwaukee. Offering 271 guestrooms and suites, the property has added the new Lakewood complex, with 48 rooms, an outdoor pool and luxury lakeside fire pit that accommodates up to 80 guests. Also, the resort has expanded its golf pro shop, renovated the fitness center, and opened the Isle of Capri Cafe, featuring artisan wood-fire pizzas. Also upgraded: the main entrance, lobby and dining facility, along with the planting of more than 200 trees.
