Attendees gathered in Austin, TX for Catersource + The Special Event this past February had the chance to attend the SEARCH Foundation's Annual Signature Event. The event, held on Valentine's Day, was themed for the holiday, with rich mauve and purple decor, conversation heart motifs, and even a cupid dancer. The SEARCH Foundation, which exists to assist special event, meetings, and catering professionals faced with a life threatening illness or catastrophic occurrence, used the event to raise funds, raising over $100,000 during the course of the night.
"The support our foundation provides to individuals in crisis is only possible with the generosity of the industry members that give so selflessly. I’m pleased to report that at the Annual Signature Event at Skybox on 6th, followed by an after party hosted by Wilkinson-Rhodes, we surpassed our goal for this event," says board chairperson, Kate Patay of Terramar, a DMC Network Company.
