Renovations Unveiled at Asilomar Conference Grounds
The landmark Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, Calif., celebrates its 100th anniversary this year with upgrades to the Hearst Social Hall and Crocker Dining Hall. Under management by ARAMARK Parks and Destinations, the facility hosts groups of up to 1,000 on a site set among Monterey pines, steps from the Asilomar Dunes Nature Preserve and Asilomar State Beach.
Hyatt Regency Minneapolis Adds Kosher Kitchen
The Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, one of the largest hotel properties in the Twin Cities, now offers a kosher kitchen. The kitchen contains all stainless steel appliances and houses two sets of small equipment pieces and utensils such as blenders, food processors, and pots and pans, enabling the hotel to accommodate both meat and dairy kosher meals. The property features 645 rooms, 100,000 square feet of flexible function space, and a full-service business center.
Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Debuts Upgraded Space
The Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park has debuted a $2.5 million renovation of its 63,000 square feet of meeting space, which now includes 15 meeting room ranging from 400 to 16,000 square feet. The project is the culmination of a more than $60 million "lobby to roof" renovation of the hotel. The meeting space was executed with an eye to sustainability, using tools such as low VOC paint, compact fluorescent lighting fixtures, and carpeting manufactured with minimal environmental impact.
