The Shores Resort and Spa, the the only AAA Four Diamond property in the Daytona Beach, Fla., area, today announced the appointment of Owen Chittenden as senior catering sales manager. In this role, Chittenden will oversee the local market for galas, foundation and fundraising events and corporate day meetings, as well as specializing in destination and ethnic weddings.
“Owen has been in this area for more than a decade, and has an excellent reputation within our community and industry-wide,” said resort general manager David Rios. “His attention to detail and stellar customer service will benefit not only the property, but our guests’ experiences as well.”
Prior to joining The Shores, Chittenden spent 13 years with the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort, the last seven as senior catering manager.
