Disney World's Hollywood Studios to Salute its 25th with Special Events
Disney World in Orlando, Fla., will do what it does best—stage special events tomorrow to mark the 25th anniversary of the theme park, formerly known as Disney-MGM Studios.
Festivities set for Thursday include: A 10 a.m. rededication ceremony with park vice president Dan Cockerell, which will honor some of the 25-year cast members. At 7 p.m., a motorcade called "Stars of the Studios" will go up Hollywood Boulevard, featuring characters such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Darth Vader, Wreck-It Ralph, Sofia the First and Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Importance of 'Social Moments' Stressed at ISES UK Event
The ISES UK chapter brought in an agency expert to address the topic of making events of all types memorable by including "social moments."
