The International EMBOK (Event Management Body of Knowledge) Summit is slated for July 27 - Aug. 2 in Johannesburg, South Africa. With the goal of developing a global standard for the production and evaluation of event management, the summit's organizers hope to bring together educators, professional associations and practicing events professionals to review progress and further the project.
