So Plastic: Joe Mineo Events Creates a Plastics Party

The client’s occupation as a plastics manufacturer became the inspiration for design in this small-but-incredible dinner party for 12 close friends and family members.

In the hands of the talented team from Joe Mineo Creative, centerpieces were constructed from hundreds of plastic champagne glasses, all glued at their bases to large clear plastic balls.

Metal stems of bendable conduit were added to create the effect of giant dandelions. Inserted in the champagne glasses were round “fairy berries,” which glowed intermittently to create a magical aura.

And more magic: The design was nominated for a 2017 Special Events Gala Award.
