Charlotte, N.C.-based Party Reflections, included on the latest Special Events "30 Top Rental Companies," last week announced its merger with Displays Unlimited, a South Carolina-based exhibition services company headquartered in Columbia, S.C. The merger increases the capabilities of Party Reflections in the region and creates an even stronger management team for the overall corporation, the company said in a statement.
Last week's move comes on the heels of the announcement in December that Party Reflections acquired the equipment assets of Poythress Tent Rentals of Burlington, N.C.
Displays Unlimited will retain its brand and move into a new combined location with Party Reflections in the spring, Party Reflections management said. The combined resources will give both companies expanded capabilities and efficiencies with their respective client bases.
STRATEGY FOR THE FUTURE "The merger of our two companies creates a much stronger and more capable entity with a clear growth strategy for the future," said Party Reflections president and CEO Dan Hooks, CERP. "Both of our customer bases will benefit greatly from the combined resources."
Christian Eastman, owner of Displays Unlimited, will continue to promote the Displays Unlimited brand throughout the region that Party Reflections services. Initially, he will focus on cross promotion and growth for both brands of the company in the South Carolina markets.
"We are very fortunate to combine forces with Christian Eastman and further our experience and offerings in the North and South Carolina markets," Hooks added. "His dedication to the special events industry will make him a tremendous asset to our company."
Party Reflections' mission is to provide upscale event rental products and services to create innovative solutions and lasting memories for its partners and clients.
