Every year Michael Cerbelli’s: The Hot List™ highlights the best event trends through performances, demonstrations, and onstage displays. While he did have a few surprises up his sleeve—such as a bartending spectacle from The Cup Bearer and a performance from viral sensation Dr. Elvis Francois (the ‘Singing Surgeon’)—this year Cerbelli focused on conversations with industry partners, focusing on what they did differently over the past year, and where the future of the industry is going.
“We need to take a look ahead at the industry that was forced to catapult five years into the future,” Cerbelli said. "What we need this year is soemthing uplifting, tangible and educational."
2021 was originally planned to be Cerbelli's "Swan Song" as it would mark his twentieth Hot List, but fear not, he's not going anywhere.
"Next year is going to the 21st birthday party edition," Cerbelli said. "It's going to be the biggest, baddest production you’ve ever seen.
"People are ready to celebrate, so this is the start of something new for all of us. We need to remember what we are worth as an industry."
