Happy new mom Angela Butorac keys on a theme of sunshine and showers. "The inspiration piece for the shower: umbrellas dripping with crystal raindrops--an idea I'd seen before and fell in love with!"
The venue: The Grande Ballroom of the Lafayette Grande Banquet facility. The proud parents sat at the yellow table--representing that newborn son Troy "is our sunshine."
Stuffed animals play in the chandelier.
" For months I scoured antique
stores and online for the perfect antique baby carriage until finally I discovered this little treasure!" Butorac says. "My stepfather, Steve, and my mom, Rose, really gave this little carriage some TLC and fixed it up
And how do you get this lovely backdrop? "I pulled out my Cricut machine for a little banner crafting," Butorac says.
"I am so inspired by quotes so whenever I can incorporate them into an event, I will!" Butorac says. "To create this idea, I printed the quote,
accessorized it with scrapbook stickers and framed it! Another idea I use a lot is to jazz up plain votive candle holders with bling stickers!"

Stuffed animals are a major decor player.
"What would a baby shower be without a decadent sweets table?" Butorac asks ....
Rubber ducky cupcakes.
Pretty cake pops.
Those ducks are back ...
"This punch was such a hit!" Butorac says.
