New Event Space Opens at Downtown Grand Las Vegas
The Downtown Grand Las Vegas, a 634-room boutique hotel in downtown Las Vegas, has opened a new space for small to medium-size events. The 3,000-square-foot Grand Parlor can accommodate up to 200 guests; it features electric turquoise upholstered chairs and oversize chandeliers juxtaposed with an industrial-chic vibe.
Convene at 101 Park Avenue Debuts in New York
The new Convene at 101 Park Avenue, part of the Convene network of conference centers, is the company's fourth location in New York and the first street-level conference center. The venue offers seven specialized rooms serving groups of up to 160 participants.
Kimpton Hotels Launches Online Tools
The Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants Group has launched two online tools to assist event planners: an interactive app for events and meetings, and Kimpton Instant Meetings, an online booking tools designed to make it easy for planners to book events quickly and easily in as little as five days out from the event.
