The "Profiles" line of plastic plates from Berry Plastics comes in three sizes: small, medium and large.
The plates, which are available in black and champagne beige, offer a distinctive square shape.
Caterers may wish to stick with one size only or mix all three for a contemporary look, the manufacturer suggests.
The company also offers its "Miniware" line, clear plastic serviceware including a 2-inch martini glass, 5-by-5-inch scrollware tray, 5.5-ounce stem glass, among others.
The small size is ideal for the small portions popular today, the company says.
