Award season is just around the corner!
The 2019 Emmy Award nominees have been announced, and the stars are preparing for the big night in September. Last year, CORT Events partnered with the Television Academy and Sequoia Productions to furnish the 70th Emmy Awards Governors Ball.

To enhance the after-party’s theme, “Emmys Under the Stars,” the event was held on the rooftop of the L.A. Live Event Deck. Instead of a formal sit-down dinner, the event featured an interactive small plates dining experience that encouraged guests to mingle, and CORT Events had the perfect furnishings to enhance this experience.

Cheryl Cecchetto, owner and CEO of Sequoia Productions, has produced the Governors Ball for 21 consecutive years. “We really wanted to shake it up across the board this year. With CORT, we were able to do just that,” said Cecchetto.

CORT Events provided pieces, such as sleek cocktail tables and sofas, all in an attempt to create a more inclusive environment for guests. The furnishings, which seamlessly transitioned from the indoor to outdoor space, encouraged guests to socialize throughout and created a synergetic atmosphere. Over 8,000 guests partied under the stars and enjoyed a night full of celebration.
