Carl Schroeder’s award-winning cuisine from Bankers Hill Bar and Restaurant in San Diego is now available for larger scale events with the recent expansion of banquet services at the popular downtown restaurant.
The addition of a new banquet kitchen on the lower level now makes it possible for the venue to host events up to 130 guests for seated events and 200 for cocktail mixers.
Semi-private rooms at Bankers Hill include the main dining room, accommodating up to 42 guests for seated events and 75 guests for cocktail mixers. The private patio accommodates up to 30 guests for seated events and 65 guests for cocktail mixers. Full buyouts are also available.

The Hilton Columbus at Easton in Columbus, Ohio, has added more than 9,000 additional square-feet of meeting rooms and event space, to further meet the needs of their ever-growing group clientele. The Hilton Chicago, located on Michigan Avenue across from Grant Park, has unveiled an all-encompassing $150 million renovation and restoration initiative, with the newest $7 million revamp to the third-floor meeting spaces. The renovation brings a full transformation to the third floor, which is home to seven separate meeting rooms ideal for organic networking of small meetings to medium sized conferences accommodating up to 850 guests. Designed with a cool color palette, the interior décor is inspired by Lake Michigan incorporating shades of purple and blue in bold, geometric patterns. Grand Waldorf chandeliers and modern pendants adorn the renovated spaces, adding depth and classic sophistication with a balance of style throughout the third floor. The new aesthetic continues into the outer corridors with details such as striking blue carpeting, dramatic lighting fixtures and sleek grey and gold armchairs to modernize the community space.
