The Big Idaho Potato Hotel in Boise, Idaho, is a 28-foot long, 12-foot wide and 11.5-foot tall potato made of plaster, concrete and steel that was converted into a tiny home by Kristie Wolfe, a former member of the Big Idaho Potato Truck tour team. The energy-efficient, eco-conscious tuber is styled to allow for comfort, privacy and amenities including power outlets, a mini fridge, old records to play, and a custom-built bed.

Hyatt Regency San Antonio, located on the famous River Walk, now provides groups with access to the La Vista Terrance, the only outdoor venue directly overlooking the Alamo. The 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace deck event space is suited for intimate occasions such as a VIP luncheon or a private New Year’s Eve celebration. Holiday Inn & Suites Chicago North Shore, which offers the largest ballroom and event space on the North Shore, just completed a comprehensive, multi-year $10 million renovation project. The property-wide transformation includes an overhaul of the hotel’s 15,000 square feet of flexible banquet and meeting space, in addition to a complete revamp of the 250 guestrooms, lobby, indoor pool and public spaces. The new design features versatile and pillarless event and meeting space and caters to a variety of social events with customizable menus and packages for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, quinceaneras, fundraisers and more. The banquet and conference center can be divided into eight separate meeting spaces and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.

Nitti's Speakeasy, the new private event space at Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse in Chicago, can seat 14 guests reception-style and 25 guests for plated events.

Malene Wines’ custom-built 1969 Airstream trailer is suited for a retro-chic gathering. Located in Edna Valley, just outside of San Luis Obispo, Calif., the trailer is available for rental for a full day, for a half day, in the evenings or by the hour. The rental price includes Airstream rental, two eight-foot tables, chairs, umbrellas, ice, water and staff as needed.

Spin, the venue dedicated to ping pong, has opened a new patio area at its San Francisco location. The patio offers two ping pong tables, lounge seating, and AV capabilities.
