Spanish hotelier Room Mate has opened Grace in Manhattan.
The former QT, the property has undergone a series of interior redesigns with new, colorful 1970s-inspired wallpaper, modern furniture in public spaces and a series of other upgrades and amenities, management says.
The company plans to open a second property in New York and another in Miami Beach.
Since its inception in 2003, the Room Mate brand has expanded to 12 properties around Spain with a focus on exceptional service, vibrant high-end design, cozy accommodations and convenient locations close to each city’s cultural and nightlife offerings, the company says.
In addition, Room Mate will launch new properties in Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, Spain, Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Bogota, Colombia, bringing the company’s portfolio up to 20 hotels around the world.
