The Benson hotel in Portland, Ore., announces its Mayfair Ballroom will get a complete renovation, to be completed in September. Decor features will include alabaster chandeliers, new stage drapery, a new sound system and a new lighting package. The ballroom measures 6,000 square feet; overall, the hotel offers 16,000 square feet of meeting space.
