MPI names temp leader as CEO search goes on Dallas-based MPI announced today that it has selected its staff director of governance and chief of staff, Sandra Riggins, to coordinate the activities of MPI through the balance of the leadership transition. “We had hoped to have a CEO candidate named by the time Mark [Andrew] assumed his role as chairman, but finding the right executive for the job had to take precedence over meeting a particular deadline,” said Christine Duffy, MPI chairwoman and president and CEO of Maritz Travel Inc. For New York-based Props for Today, a big seller is the "white lounge" look, including white sectional seating, glass-top tables and frosted glass bars. North Hollywood, Calif.-based 20th Century Props cites demand for theme props including art deco, '60s mod and "vintage Hollywood bungalow," which includes rattan bars, geometric carved-wood dividers and a "Hollywood" sign.
