Los Angeles-based Classic Party Rentals, the biggest event rental company in the U.S., has announced the acquisition of Red Hot Rentals, based in Phoenix. Adding the Red Hot Rentals team and inventory strengthens Classic’s presence, known locally as Tri-Rentals, in the growing Phoenix market, management said.
Red Hot Rentals, founded in 1998 by Dave Brann and Soyun Wong, serves clients including the Wigwam Resort, General Motors, Mirabel Golf Club and Rawhide Western Town.
“As entrepreneurs know, running a business can be a challenge with all of the administrative headaches,” said Wong. “Combining our operation with Tri-Rentals ensures our employees and clients have the best resources and opportunities.” “The move allows us to focus on the aspects of the business we enjoy most,” added Brann. “We love the events industry and are committed to our clients.”
Classic will merge the brands and warehouses and operate the combined businesses under the Tri-Rentals name. J.J. Bowers, Tri-Rentals’ general manager, will lead the company, supported by Brann and Wong. “We look forward to adding Dave, Soyun and the entire Red Hot Rentals team to our Phoenix family,” said John Campanelli, CEO of Classic Party Rentals. “As we recently experienced with Super Bowl XLII and the FBR Open, Phoenix knows how to host first-class events.”
