Columbus, Ohio-based event design and production agency Dascenzo Creative has won a national Telly award and an International Association of Business Communicators Silver Quill award for video and multimedia work produced as part of a fund-raising event for Columbus Children’s Hospital.
The Telly award honored a video produced for “Serra Bella: A Beautiful Night of Miracles” that was designed to tell the story of miracles that occur at Children’s Hospital as seen through the eyes of children. The production competed against more than 10,000 video entries in the 23-year-old competition, which honors commercials, film and video productions.
Dascenzo won a Midwest Regional IABC Silver Quill award for “Serra Bella,” a multimedia presentation that recognized corporate sponsors attending the event. The winning entry will go on to compete nationally against Silver Quill winners from throughout the United States.
The 2002 “Serra Bella” event, designed and produced in its entirety by Dascenzo, raised more than $550,000 for the hospital, according to company president Jay Dascenzo.
