The Live Events Coalition showcased the economic plight of the $1 trillion live event industry in a stunning event in Washington. "The Empty Event," held Aug. 6 on the National Mall, displayed 48 dressed, empty tables--each representing 250,000 workers--along with empty trailers and barren production sets to demonstrate how the event industry has been crippled by the COVID shutdown.
