SportsMark Management Group, a strategic event management and corporate hospitality agency based in the San Francisco Bay area, announced today that it has opened an office in London to further service its clientele for the 2004 and 2006 Olympic Summer and Winter Games. The new office will also manage new business development throughout Europe.
"It was a natural step for SportsMark to open a European-based office in order to support our existing clients and grow our business globally," said Steve Moran-Cassese, the company's director of business development for Europe. "Through our experience in working on the past seven Olympic Games and dozens of other high-profile sporting events like World Cup and The Masters, we can offer our expertise to the European market. Our goal is to assist companies with maximizing the impact of their events and creating the ultimate guest experience through hospitality and creativity. The international pastimes may vary, but delivering exceptional service is universal."
In addition to its work with the Olympic Games, SportsMark will work with European companies to develop hospitality programs and special events that can enhance client relationships through entertainment as a means of fostering brand loyalty and delivering a return on investment, the company said. SportsMark will focus on major European sporting events including football, auto racing, rugby, tennis and golf, as well as corporate meetings and incentives.
